Dear Harold
It is only now that I learned that my short story in Pangasinan with my English translation was published in Pinili in 2019. Did or will you send copies to the authors? Reading the introduction by the editors, which you are one, and the foreword by Villa, I could not help myself but to feel injustice that you did not include Pangasinan as among the languages included in your anthology. Although I don't speak the languages in the south, I know that Cebuano is different from Waray, Waray from Hiligaynon etc. It is clear from the bio-note your editors wrote about me that I am from Pangasinan and I wrote Pangasinan. Or does this mean that you perceived that the language I wrote is Iloko just like what Villa wrote "I read all the works in their original languages except those in Iluko and Inabaknon, which I read in translation"? I don't know how can you remedy this. Your book claim to represent "marginalized literatures" but in the process you misrepresented and even silenced another "marginalized literature".

Sincerely
